Travel. What dreams do you have?
Culture is the widening of the mind and of the spirit.
What dreams do you have? Gathering ideas and choosing a destination
Travel experiences range from sunning on some hidden island off the coast of Belize to opening as many museum doors in a day in Paris as possible. Or they can include shaking hands with a tribal chief in Ethiopia, bouncing through the jungles of northern Thailand on elephants, and watching the magical marriage ceremonies of the Woodabe. Your choices of where and when will expand as you take your first step toward building your own adventure.
Do key-chains, a splendid tan, or photographs some stranger took of you in front of the Eiffel Tower qualify as treasures of a trip?? Or, are you more the type to seek the joy of discovery by expanding your knowledge of world events and developing an awareness of your own potential? Can you find the real magic of travel?
To bring about meaningful stimulation, intrigue, and beauty, we first need to clarify why and where. At a crossroad of decisions, we bring our ideas into focus. If you have no idea why you chose a certain path to travel, you may end up living someone else’s ideas of what to do when you get there. These ideas include what sights to see, what foods to eat (or not to eat). You would forever look for experiences others suggest you ?should? have, instead of exploring the places on your own terms.
